A Bit About Us
Working Towards a Better Tomorrow
We all know that food is the most important school supply. Children cannot learn when they are hungry and living a life without access to adequate nutrition.
I learned about chronic childhood hunger when I was in kindergarten and my best friend received a different food tray in the cafeteria. She was on free and reduced lunch and her family was struggling to put food on the table.
Since that day, I have been working to end chronic childhood hunger in my community. At 8, I put a name to my campaign - the Square Meal Project.
The Square Meal Project is a 501(c)(3) public charity that works to end childhood hunger in America where 18 million children experience food insecurity in 2020. We encourage young volunteers - you are never too young, or too old to make a difference!
